Guided Snorkel
Fully instructed snorkeling with marine ecology briefing and marine life spotting activity (120 minutes)

We provide your students a safe and exciting guided snorkeling experience coupled with educational activities all about marine ecology and conservation. With the guidance of our specialist instructors, your students will learn how the marine ecosystem functions and gather data from the watery world around them, all the while enjoying New Zealand’s unique aquatic life from beneath the waves.
Guided Snorkel with Marine Lecture
Fully instructed snorkeling tour (120 minutes) with an interactive Marine Lecture for the students (60 - 90 Minutes) at the Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre in Leigh.
We provide your students a safe and exciting guided snorkeling experience coupled with educational activities all about marine ecology and conservation. With the guidance of our specialist instructors, your students will learn how the marine ecosystem functions and gather data from the watery world around them, all the while enjoying New Zealand’s unique aquatic life from beneath the waves. Furthermore, The Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre offers great tailor made programmes. Including a presentation by a marine scientist, explanation of the species in the touch tank and close up examination of various marine species.
Guided Snorkel with Rocky Shore Study
Fully instructed snorkeling tour (120 minutes) with hands on Rocky Shore Study including a Marine Meter Squared (https://mm2.net.nz/).

We provide your students a safe and exciting guided snorkeling experience coupled with educational activities all about marine ecology and conservation. With the guidance of our specialist instructors, your students will learn how the marine ecosystem functions and gather data from the watery world around them, all the while enjoying New Zealand’s unique aquatic life from beneath the waves. In addition, during our fully-equipped rocky shore study, students will traverse the reserve at low-tide, investigating the biology of the inter tidal species and learning about their important connection to all marine organisms.

Guided Night Snorkel
Mystic Sea
A 2 day program where you have the choice of a fully covered experience at the Goat Island Marine Reserve containing:

- Daytime Snorkeling and/or Night Snorkeling
- Rocky Shore Study and/or Marine Lecture at Goat Island Discovery Centre
- Accommodation for you and your students at the Leigh Campground, Pakiri Campground or Whangateau Holiday Park
